Lou DeSerio went to Escalante, Utah to photograph in the fall when the tempertures for long hikes are more endurable. He took the trail to one of the waterfalls and on the way passed this arrangement of plants and colors that were like a rich palate of oil paints. With a 4″x5″ view camera he was able to capture the detail, the intricacy and colors that spanned the rainbow.
