Located about 10 miles North of Sedona, in Oak Creek Canyon, is the Westfork of Oak Creek. This spring-fed tributary flows all year around with fresh water and meanders from the high territory near Flagstaff, Arizona and makes its way through the canyon walls of red rock and some of the most diverse flora and foliage in all of Arizona. The trail is 16 miles, however most visitors only hike in about 1 or 2 miles. This location is where the Westfork is very close to Oak Creek and is easily accessible. All four seasons offer variety and interest, but the spring brings the greatest number of flowers in bloom.
