Lou DeSerio worked with a 4x5 Linhof View Camera. When working with a large format camera you generally need to be a careful observer, anticipate events and establish camera position, lens choice and composition before an event takes place. Also, familiarity with the enviornment is essential in pursuit of remarkable landscape photographs. This was the case here. I was in pursuit of this event over the course of many many months. Knowing the time of day, the time of year, and the exact location provided the ingredients that make up capturing this unique moment of light, color and objects.
