Ever since Lou DeSerio started photographing the world around him, trees have been a major subject of his visual explorations. "I am fascinated with their forms, their variety, their metamorphic changes throughout their lifetime." This stand of Ash Trees was captured in Oak Creek Canyon, near Sedona, Arizona. They have already lost their leaves and just their forms stand bold and stark in a formation, like dancers in a musical performance.
